3000 RPM/V Brushless EnErG Electric Motor
Another of the CNC manufactured superb quality brushless electric drive motor complete with 55mm triple power leads fitted 3.5mm, multileaf bullet type pairs of gold connectors. Ideal for the Mugi Evo using 6~8 cell NiMH packs, equivalent nicads or the preferred Li-Poly 3 cell battery pack.
Weight is 85g bare and a total of 93 g including the supplied alumminium collet type prop driver, 6.23mm (1/4") across the threaded portion. Takes a propellor reamed with a sharp1/4" drill bit as a snug screw-in fit. The supplied spinner has a 2.5mm hole for T bar tightening. Front of motor tapped with four equal spaced fixing holes at 8mm radius from the 3.15mm diameter motor shaft.
Working current 5~25A and a 30A peak. Rated at a higher 3000rpm/V and needs a minimum of 30A capability speed controller, preferably more. Expect high performance particularly when used with our weight-saving Prop-Saver and Microspeed Plastic or Carbon Propellers. Also the mean looking APC 4.7x4.2 & 4.75x4.75 propellers. Unlimited vertical (within legal constraints) capability. It also works well with the APC 5x5 prop and at least a 20C LiPo pack. The APC 6 x 5.5E gives tremendous thrust. Not for the faint hearted; throttle limitations advised for intermediate and standard fliers until experience is gained. The 4mm motor shaft projects 14mm and the motor itself is 37mm long and 28mm diameter. Motor looks identical to the 2000 version except for a subtle label change; internally there are unseen winding gauge differences. Supplied tucked within your coloured reel of tape, to keep the postal weight down.
